We want to remind you how to celebrate life in the most carefree way possible, away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday, and the myriad things that tug on your mind and distract you from the moment.
Why an adult-only hotel?
As much as we love children - many of us have our own and we appreciate the joy they bring to our lives. We also recognise that becoming a parent can be an all-consuming role. At Agora, we want all the busy mothers and fathers who find their way here to have the space to be something other: a partner, a traveller, a creative, an athlete. We want the adults to have a space where they can have fun their way. This is especially true for environments like our restaurant and bar, where a well-mixed drink is the focal point of the afternoon, and a stolen moment with your partner by the pool can stretch into more than just a moment.
Likewise, if in your search for tranquility you’ve arranged to leave your children with a responsible person, we don’t want the moment to be taken over by children that aren’t even your own. We’ve all been children, and we all remember the thrill of a day off school, or an afternoon outing. The freedom of the weekend, and an unfamiliar environment, are stimulating joys. But adults don’t get regular weekends, or school holidays. We want to spoil the adults as much as they spoil their children, and give them time to recharge. When you return to your regularly scheduled life, we want you reinvigorated and ready to be a better parent, partner and self. We want to offer you the opportunity to step out of your daily life, and experience the Agora lifestyle the way we have crafted it.
