We are hiring a passionate Housekeeper to join our Front of House team at the Agora Hotel. In Housekeeping, you will work in connection with our Front of House Manager & Reception as well as independently to provide unique and memorable experiences.
When a guest walks into any of our rooms – imagine that first look-around they take. Followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived at their home away from home, be it for a night or a week, and it’s perfect. Everything is exactly in its place.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep trolleys and store rooms clean and tidy.
Clean all allocated guest rooms and public areas in the most efficient and effective way.
Perform routine walk-throughs and ensure the overall tidiness, cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel.
Comply with health & safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment for guests and staff by placing proper signage as needed.
Wash, dry, iron, fold and store linen properly.
Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items.
Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and floor-care duties.
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
Make beds and fold sheets.
Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances.
Handle promptly all guest clothing handed in for washing/dry cleaning.
Handle promptly all lost and found items.
Report deficiencies or damages to the Reception and Management in a proactive manner.
Respond quickly to guest and management requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
Dispose of waste according to the designated procedures.
Assist with stock counting.
Attend training as requested for continuous vocation development.
Cleaning of public areas including the guests toilets, staff toilets, stairs, floors and other relevant areas.
Carry out any other relevant duties as directed by the management.
REQUIREMENTS
Working quietly and swiftly.
Greeting guests, good morning/good afternoon/good evening/ hello.
Being alert at all times for anything that is out of place.
Attentive to guest requests with a warm, people-oriented demeanor.
A team-first attitude
Experience in hospitality, preferably in a similar role.
Strong command of both spoken and written English.
Passionate about hospitality and keen to learn while working.
Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm though quick and effective problem-solving under pressure.
Be welcoming, friendly, passionate about customer service, and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand on your feet for several hours and lift up to 20 kg if required.
